Severn Trent Assembly & Workshop

Earlier this month, our Key Stage 2 pupils took part in a fantastic assembly led by Severn Trent Water. They learned how water is cleaned and treated, why clean water is so precious, and the importance of only flushing the 3Ps (pee, poo and paper) to help prevent blockages.
Class 3 also enjoyed a hands-on workshop, exploring how much water different households use and identifying simple ways to save water at home, such as turning off the tap when brushing teeth, collecting rainwater, and taking shorter showers.
It was a brilliant, practical learning experience that really got everyone thinking about how we can all make a difference. Keep an eye out for this week’s newsletter for a short survey from Severn Trent, helping the, know if these messages have reached home!
