Wear It Green Day for Mental Health Awareness

Before half term, our Year 5 girls took the lead in organising a fantastic Wear It Green Day in support of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Pupils and staff came dressed in green to raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing. The girls also organised a wonderful after-school bake sale, packed with delicious cakes, biscuits and sweet treats for everyone to enjoy.
Thanks to the generosity of our school community, the girls raised an impressive £188 for the Mental Health Foundation through donations and bake sale purchases.
We are incredibly proud of the initiative, organisation and enthusiasm shown by the girls, and grateful to everyone who got involved by wearing green, donating or treating themselves to a bake.
Together, we can help raise awareness and support positive mental health for all.
