We are absolutely delighted to announce that Great Bowden Academy has been awarded the School Games Gold Mark for the fourth consecutive year.

This national award recognises our school's commitment to physical activity, participation and engagement in the School Games throughout the 2025/26 academic year. From competitions and festivals to clubs and inclusive sporting opportunities, we are incredibly proud of the wide range of experiences our children enjoy.

A huge well done to all of our pupils for embracing sport with such enthusiasm and determination, and thank you to our staff, volunteers and families who continue to support and champion sport at GBA.
