Our boys’ football team recently took part in the final round of the league fixtures, finishing the stage with two draws and one narrow defeat. It was a series of hard-fought games, and the team showed fantastic determination, teamwork and resilience throughout.

In truth, the first two matches could easily have been convincing wins if it hadn’t been for some outstanding goalkeeping from the opposition, with countless saves keeping the scores level. On another day those chances may well have found the back of the net!

The boys worked brilliantly together and represented the school with real pride. Their efforts this season mean they are set to finish around mid-table in the league, a strong result in a very competitive group. They narrowly missed out on promotion, but their commitment and team spirit have been excellent all season.
