What Do Parents Do All Day?

This week we launched a brand-new Wednesday assembly feature – “What Do Parents Do All Day?”. An opportunity for children the to hear from parents, carers and grandparents about the job (or hobby) they do while the children are at school.

To kick things off, we were delighted to welcome Anna, who spoke to the whole school about her role as a Barrister. The children were completely engaged as she explained what happens in court, what inspired her to choose her career and the parts of the job she enjoys most.

The assembly ended with lots of thoughtful and insightful questions from the children, who were fascinated to learn more about the world of law and the important work barristers do.

A huge thank you to Anna for giving up her time to inspire our pupils.

Would you like to volunteer for a future “What Do Parents Do All Day?” assembly and share your job, hobby or passion with the children? If so, please email the school office. We would love to hear from you.
