Pride Day

On Wednesday, we celebrated Pride Month with our very own Pride Day, with children coming to school in non-uniform as we celebrated what makes each of us unique.
We started the day with a whole-school assembly, exploring some important messages:
🌟 We are all different.
🌟 We are made up of things that stay the same and things that change
🌟 We should be proud of our individuality.
🌟 We should respect and celebrate that everyone is unique and special in their own right.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed a range of creative classroom activities, reflecting on their own identities, values and the qualities that make them special.
It was a joyful day of celebrating ourselves, appreciating each other, and recognising that our differences are what makes the world, and our school community, such a wonderful place to be.
