We are delighted to invite prospective parents and children to one of our open events. It is the perfect opportunity for you to see our school in action, find out more about Great Bowden Academy, meet our staff, and get a better understanding of how the transition from pre-school/nursery to primary school works.
Open event dates as follows:
You will be welcomed by our Headteacher Mrs Blagburn, hear a short talk, given a tour of the school, have an opportunity to ask questions at our Q&A session, plus meet the class teacher. We will have refreshments as well as play activities for your child, so please do bring them along if you can.
To book please complete this form or contact the office on 01858 463216 or [email protected]
Can't make any of these dates? Don't worry, simply call or email the office and we will do our desk to find a suitable time for a school tour.
Parents and carers are invited to attend a termly coffee morning with our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) Erica Biddle and other guest speakers. Each coffee morning will have a focus or 'theme', as well as an opportunity for general discussion. These may be held at Great Bowden School, but may also be held in other venues, depending on the focus.
We will send out information on upcoming coffee mornings in the weekly newsletter, as well as on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities page on the website. For more details on our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities offering, please see our SEND page here
We have some wonderful events coming up in our social calendar organised by our PTA team. To find out more, please see the PTA information page here
